Public childcare centers are operated to relieve female workers of burdens of childcare through providing them with quality child-care services, and thereby, promote their employment and secure them continuous employment.
Admittable children :
- Childcare : Any children aged 0 to 4 in full (except for school children)
- OST (out-of-school time) care : Any children aged 12 in full or younger
Priority
- 1st priority : Children whose parents are insured by employment insurance
- 2nd priority : Children whose mother is insured by employment insurance
- 3rd priority : Children whose father is insured by employment insurance
- 4th priority : etc.
Operation policy
- Shall assist workers with a small-/medium-sized workplace conveniently use childcare services, as through operating shuttle buses, childcare centers for a daily-extended timeframe, OST childcare program, holiday childcare program, etc.
- Shall develop and put into practice various childcare programs so that customers may inexpensively use childcare services.
