K-COMWEL contributes to the improvement of workers quality of life through optimal workers' compensation programs, rehabilitation supports and welfare improvements.
The BPJS delegation of Indonesia visited K-COMWEL Headquarters in Ulsan on April 14. Mrs. Nyla Pudjiati, along with 15 other good performance officials had a profound interest in K-COMWEL’s rehabilitation programs. K-COMWEL shared advanced know-how on return to work program and rehabilitation.
April
K-COMWEL hosted an invitational workshop program from April 21 to 30. 19 Vietnamese officials from VSS participated in program for 10 days at the KOICA. The program is part of the Korean government’s official development assistance(ODA) program, running from 2013 to 2015. This year’s workshop concentrated on medical care and compensation.

K-COMWEL hosted the second General Assembly of Asian Workers Compensation Forum(AWCF) on June 30, 2014 at Coex.

Internation symposium for the 50th anniversary of WCI took place in COEX on June 30, 2014.
September
The Taiwan Ministry of Labor delegation visited K-COMWEL Headquarters on September 1st. K-COMWEL shared advanced techniques in management of K-COMWEL’s hospitals.

A workshop for Vietnam’s official competency on WCI took place in Hanoi and Danang on September 24th and 26th, respectively.
October
K-COMWEL hosted ASEAN-ILO/Korea fellowship training on Employment Injury Insurance from October 20 to 24 at Lexington hotel. 13 officials from 7 ASEAN countries and 5 officials as observers from Mongolia participated in the training.

The Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation(FSS) visited K-COMWEL on December 9th. The delegation studied COMEL’s WCI operation.
