    Eligible employers

    • Job Adaptation & Sports Rehabilitation Program is a program to financially assist an employer who operates for the following workers having returned to works any job adaptation and/or sports rehabilitation program.

      ※IIW : workers with disability Grades 1 to 12 or Workers currently under their available WCI medical care services whose remaining disability will be acknowledged to any of Disability Grades 1 to 12 as backed up or evidenced by a WCI-authorized doctor-in -charge’s opinion(if medical services have come to an end before April.27, 2010, workers with disability grades 1 to 9 can be applied)

    Coverage criteria

    • An employer should begin the said job adaptation and/or sports rehabilitation program within 6 months from 3 months before the end of medical care(or the workers have returned to work).
    • The employer should maintain the worker’s employment for at least 6 months after the program has come to an end

      ※ Provided that, however, the employer fails to maintain the foregoing paid employment for at least 6 month, all subsidies as already paid as part of the Program shall be recovered from the employer.
      ※ If the workers quit their job voluntarily, the foregoing subsidies shall be covered until the day they have quit the job.

    Coverage period & coverage limit

    • Up to 3 months (payable together with subsidies as paid as per the R2W Program)
      • Coverable job adaption expenses: Expenses for job training implemented using an employer’s own facility or through any external training agency on a contractual basis
      • Coverable sports rehabilitation expenses: Expenses for sports rehabilitation implemented using an employer’s own facility or through any external sports rehabilitation agency on a contractual basis
