Submit a application for medical care benefits
To Submit a Claim for Medical Care Benefits at the time of the occurrence of a work-related accident
An industrially-injured worker (“IIW”) with the consequent work-related injury or disease it takes at least 4 days of medical care services to medically treat shall submit Claim for Medical Care Benefits to get entitled to the said benefits, a long with the form of Doctor’s Opinion of the Medical Examination.
- The worker shall fill in the said claim relevant details about his/her exposure to the industrial accident(including personal information, the name of his/her workplace etc.) with the Doctor’s Opinion, and then submit it to a K-COMWEL branch office with jurisdiction over the said workplace to obtain confirmation.

The medical service provider can claim for the said benefits in place of the worker with a prior consent from him/her.
※ Starting from January 1, 2018, accidents that occur during commuting through normal channels and methods are recognized as work-related injury or disease.
