April

Thailand Tripartite Commission visited K-COMWEL headquarters on 2 April, 2013. They studied
Korea’s Employment Injury Insurance and retirement pension system.

April

K-COMWEL participated in technical workshop of return to work and rehabilitation scheme which
was hosted by PT. JAMSOSETK at Jakarta in Indonesia from 25th to 26th April 2013, and presented
K-COMWEL’s customized integrated service case.

A workshop for Vietnam’s official competency on EII, part of the official development Aid(ODA), took place at Hanoi in Vietnam on 4 June, 2013

K-COMWEL visited University of North Sumatra in Indonesia on 7 June, 2013 and donated 100
computers as a Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR).

K-COMWEL participated in European Forum in Helsinki, Finland from 17th to 19th June 2013, and
presented K-COMWEL’s EII program and AWCF’s operation.

September

K-COMWEL hosted an invitational workshop program from September 21 to 27 at the KOICA. 10
Vietnamese officials from related organizations participated in program.

October

K-COMWEL hosted AWCF technical seminar at Lexington hotel, Seoul on 15 October, 2013. The
main theme on the seminar was concerned with improving corporate governance and best practices of Workers’Compensation.

October

K-COMWEL hosted ASEAN-ILO/Korea fellowship training program on Employment Injury Insurance
for 14 officials from 7 ASEAN countries from October 14 to 20 at Lexington hotel and K-COMWEL
HRD center.

November

K-COMWEL participated in the 31st World Social Security Forum in Doha, Qatar on 9 and 15
November, 2013. At the meeting, international issues related with social security were addressed. It
also gave a chance to strengthen ties with major social security organizations.

K-COMWEL visited Honoi and Danag, Vietnam from 18 to 23 November, 2013. It conducted a field
survey for capacity building program of EII specialist as part of Korean government’s official
development assistant(ODA) progam.
