  • Temporary Disability Benefits ("TDBs")

    TDBs refer to benefits paid to an eligible worker with temporary disability resulting from a work-related injury or disease, or his/her dependents, for a living. The eligible worker or his/her dependents shall be paid TDBs corresponding to 70% of his/her daily average wages for (i.e. multiplied by) at least four days of his/her time-off from works to receive medical treatments as inpatient or outpatient.

    TDBs for old workers

    • If a worker with eligibility for TDBs reaches the age of 61, he/she shall be given adjusted TDBs due to him/her for the subsequent years as follows:
      • <Case 1> where the worker has received TDBs before the age of 61:
