    Job Training Program is a program to provide various job-training opportunities for an IIW who needs to acquire relevant skills to obtain reemployment by financially helping him/her receive job training from job training agencies with which K-COMWEL has concluded a relevant agreement to provide job training services.

    Eligible workers

    • Workers acknowledged as industrially injured and unemployed or self-employed (as of the day they apply for the Program) who have formulated a return-to-work plan that are among either of the following workers :

      ※Workers with disability Grades 1 to 12 or Workers currently under their available WCI medical care services whose remaining disability will be acknowledged to any of Disability Grades 1 to 12 as backed up or evidenced by a WCI-authorized doctor-in -charge’s opinion

    The deadline for applications

    • Within 3 years of determining disability grade

      ※For those subject to the exclusion of occupational rehabilitation benefits, three years from the next day, which is one year from the date the disability rating is determined, is separately supported as a budget project.

    Scope of coverage

    • Training period : within 12 months(training can supported up to twice)
    • Job training expenses: government-approved training expenses paid to a job training agency
    • Job allowances: Daily amount of minimum standard wages

      ※under the conditions of at least 80% attendance rate, supported amount depends on days or hours of his/her job training
