    • Eligible workers

      • A small business owner with fewer than 20 full-time workers (the end of the month to which the industrial accident belongs) who:
        • (IIWs) persons with a disability grade or in medical care approval period for more than 2 months (60 days), and whose employment is maintained for 30 days or longer after returning to the job without any job cuts.
        • (Substitute workers) New employees who are hired after the industrial accident to maintain employment for 30 days or longer.
    • Coverage criteria

      • Returning the IIW to the original workplace without a job cut, maintaining employment for 30 days or longer
      • Maintaining employment for 30 days or longer by hiring new substitute workers after the industrial accident date

        ※Exclusions:
        - (employers) In case of

        • failure to pay WCI premiums
        • the subsidy has already been received under another statute
        • another worker is adjusted(due to managerial requirements, etc.)during the support period
        • the substitute worker is not insured for employment or workers’ compensation
        - (workers) construction day workers and illegal foreign workers

    • Scope of coverage

      • Up to six months from the date of initial employment of a substitute worker
      • Within 50% of the wage paid by the employer to a substitute worker(maximum of 600,000 won per month)
