    Medical Services K-COMWEL Ansan Hospital Currently, the hospital operates 14 medical departments and 483 sickbeds to build up competency for surgical rehabilitation treatments focusing on internal diseases (e.g. respiratory organs) and spinal rehabilitation.
    In 2008, the hospital opened the Spine Center to provide intensive and specialized services for workers with spinal injuries together with the Rehabilitation Center.

    Features

    A ward specialized for pneumoconiosis that is the largest in the capital area

    The hospital operates a ward (with 190 sickbeds) specialized for pneumoconiosis that is the largest in the capital area, which will enable the medical treatments of complications (e.g. serious pnemoconiosis, coronary artery disease, etc.), the identification of occupational asthma in its early stage, and researches on the rehabilitation of respiratory organs (including determination of whether they've been disabled).
    The Occupation Lung Disease Institute is affiliated to the Ansan Central Hospital.

    Modernization of medical equipment

    The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment such as MRI (magnetic resonance imaging machine) and MDCT (Multi-Detector Computed Tomography) in a steady effort to maintain its modern medical equipment. Also, it is equipped with infrastructure such as PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and OCS (Order Communication System), so that patients can have easy and convenient access to the hospital.
