K-COMWEL hosted an invitational workshop program April 5 to 18 in 2015. at the International
Cooperation Center of KOICA. 15 Vietnamese officials from related fields participated in the program focused on IT and administration reform.

May

Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service(K-COMWEL) and Federation of Accident
Insurance Institution(FAII) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate the Employment
Injury Insurance on 11 May in Helsinki.

K-COMWEL was invited to the technical seminar on “Innovative approaches to prevention of
occupational diseases” hosted by the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation on 27 to 28
May in Russia. Mr. Cho Cheol-Ho, the Executive Vice President of Planning, delivered the
congratulatory message in the meeting.

In celebration of K-COMWEL’s 20th anniversary, COWEML hosted international conference in social
security on 5, June in Busan with international and domestic scholars.

K-COMWEL participated in the European Forum in Vienna, Austria from September 8th to 11th

October

K-COMWEL hosted an invitational workshop with 10 public officials from Cambodia and Myanmar
from October 11 to 17 in Ulsan, where K-COMWEL’s headquarters moved last year.

K-COMWEL held a seminar on rehabilitation chaired by Dr. Rolf Keppeler of BG Hamburg Hospital, in Ulsan on October 13.

The delegation from Disability Degree Assessment Committe of Social Insurance General Office(SIGO) visited K-COMWEL on November 13, 2015.

K-COMWEL hosted an international Social Security Conference from November 26 to 27 at KimKoo Museum & Library.

Medical Director of Murnau Trauma Center, Buhren Volker and Professor of Austria Wein National
medical University visited to Incheon hospital.

December

The Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation(FSS) visited K-COMWEL’s Rehabilitation
Engineering Center and Daegu hospital on December 15 and 16. They learned K-COMWEL’s
rehabilitation operation through study visit.
