    Occupations subject to special WCI application for platform operators

    • From July 1, 2023, it applies to quick service drivers (including food delivery drivers), proxy drivers, and truck owners who provide labor through an online platform.
    • 1Quick service engineer (a person who is a courier according to the three classifications of the Korean Standard Occupational Classification and who performs delivery work after receiving a request from a person running a quick service business)
    • 2Substitute driver (a person who drives a car after receiving a job request from a proxy driver (the business owner of a business that drives a car to the destination in accordance with the car user's request)
    • 3Cargo owner (as a truck owner under the 「Cargo Transport Service Act」, a lorry under Article 3 (1) 3 of the 「Automobile Management Act」, a towed vehicle among special vehicles under Article 3 (1) 4 of the 「Automobile Management Act」, or A person who operates a ladder truck for special work)
