This is a project to relieve the burden of social insurance subscription and to eliminate the blind spot in social insurance by subsidizing a part of social insurance premiums
(employment insurance and national pension) for employers and workers who run small businesses.
DuruNuri Social Insurance Subsidy Program
Eligible applicant
- Newly employed workers with an average monthly remuneration of less than 2.6 million won and their employers in a business unit with fewer than 10 workers,
Support level and Support period
- (Support level) 80% of employment insurance and national pension insurance premiums paid by newly enrolled workers and their employers
- (Support period) From January 1, 2018, support for up to 36 months by adding support for new subscribers and existing subscribers
Ineligible applicant
- If any of the workers eligible for support falls under any of the following, support is excluded.
a) A person whose sum of standard taxable assets of the previous year of the insurance year to which the application date belongs is 600 million won or more
b) A person with a comprehensive income of KRW 43 million or more in the year preceding the insurance year to which the application date belongs
Insurance premium support method
- When an employer applies for DuruNuri Social Insurance Subsidy Program, the employer checks whether the monthly premium is paid within the statutory deadline, and if it is paid in full, the support is provided by notifying the remaining amount after subtracting the premium subsidy for that month from the next month's premium. (However, if there is no insurance premium to be levied in the following month, the subsidy for that month is not supported)
- In the case of DuruNuri social insurance premiums throughout the year, support is provided from the employment insurance premium of the month in which the application date belongs to the end of the insurance year, but if the number of insured persons who are receiving employment insurance premium support as of the end of the insurance year and the monthly average worker during the insurance premium support period during that insurance year is less than 10 In the next insurance year, you can continue to receive support even if you do not apply separately.
