Causes
Closing or liquidation of business :
Case where a business has been practically closed or liquidated, regardless of whether the dissolution of a corporation has been registered, whether a business has been closed or whether the termination or expiration of insurance relations has been reported
Termination of insurance relations by virtue of authority
If the COMWEL judges that insurance relations couldn’t be continued, it’s entitled to forfeit an employer’s authority related to the maintenance of insurance relations.
Application for the termination of voluntary coverage:
The application for the termination of voluntary coverage is only available at the end of insurance year when an employer has obtained an approval of the said coverage in accordance with WCI.
Case where a voluntarily-covered business wants to terminate WCI & EI coverage
When it comes to a workplace voluntarily establishing insurance relations on July 10, 2005, it can apply for such termination on and after January 1, 2006.
