    WCI Premium Rating

WCI premium rating is directly related to premium burdens paid by a member employer. For the purpose of fairness, premium rating according to each business category (business type) is determined according to its occupational accident risks on a basis of the ratio of the total amount of benefits to that of wages for the past 3 years as of September 30 every year.
※ Premium rating for 61 business types as of 2009 ranges from 7/1000 to 360/1000 with 18/1000 on average.

    Application of premium rating

    • A single premium rating shall be applied to a single workplace or business.
    • If 2 businesses or more are operated in a workplace, a major business to decide a single premium rating shall be selected in accordance with the following priority:
      ① Business with more workers
② Business with the more amount of wages paid (if each business uses the same number of workers or the number of workers engaging in each business couldn't be identified
